Kyle Wester shattered the prevailing Guinness Fastest Skateboard Speed Downhill record by cruising with a break-neck speed of 89.41mph/143.89km/h on August 29, 2016. In order to set the record all of the factors were considered. Wester switched out his wheels on his last attempt break the world record.
Wester pounced on Santa Cruz Skateboards, Road Rider 73mm Shred Mags wheels, Bronson Speed Co. G3 bearings and Mob Super Course Griptape.
